Disclaimer: This article is specific to the paid Grids Data Modeler upgrade. To create a grid template for your company, you need to have credentials. Contact your Buildout Administrator for access or email for more information.

Buildout Grids admins can enable or disable their company’s grid templates from their Buildout Grids settings page. These users can also select which property types they want the grid templates to appear on.

To get started, select your account dropdown and then Grids.


Select your grid template to expand the settings.


In the Users tab, select or deselect the Enable grid template checkbox. When enabled, company users with Grids turned on will be able to select this grid template from a listing’s “Grids” tab. If you deselect the checkbox, the grid template will no longer appear as an option in the listing’s “Grids” tab.

To make the grid template available to all users with Grids access, ensure Enable for all users is checked. Unchecking will allow you to grant access to this grid template on a per-user basis.

Click the plus icon next to the user for which you would like to grant access to the grid template. To revoke access, click the minus icon.


On the Property Types tab, you can associate the grid template with specific property (sub)types by checking the appropriate boxes. The grid template will only appear as an option for listings of the specified property (sub)types.
