This article provides instructions on how to add internal colleagues and/or external contacts to a deal. The Associated Party related list consists of colleagues and/or contacts that you relate, or add, to a deal.
The key areas this article will focus on are:
- Associated Party (Related List component)
- Add External Contact (button)
- Add Internal Colleague (button)
External Contacts are people associated with a deal who does not work in your organization.
In the below example, the External Contact is a landlord - so 'Landlord' will be selected under Role.
Internal Colleagues are people in your organization associated with a deal who may or may not have access to Rethink (although they typically do).
The level of access for Internal Colleagues can be set to Read (only) or Read/Write.
The role that the Internal Colleague plays in the deal can be defined as well.
It is also possible to track commissions and broker fees in Associated Parties.
After saving internal colleague(s) and/or external contact(s), they will appear under the Associated Parties related list.
