Prospecting from within GEOsearch is made easy by the use of call lists. You can create targeted call lists from the Contacts and Companies objects as well.
You can access your call lists via the utility bar below or the navigation bar at the top:
The prospecting tool in GEOsearch and call lists allow you to efficiently compile a list of targeted audiences such as property owners, tenants with lease expirations approaching, sellers to reach back out to in a year, or even contacts that you haven't connected with in a while.
In the previous section we learned how to use GEOsearch to build our criteria. Now, we will learn how to create a call list from GEOsearch and then access it.
1. Adjust Your View in the Results Panel
In this example, we represent Tenants and want to search for prospects in our database for contacts whose leases are expiring in the next 1-2 years. Once we create our filters by Lease Expiration Date, we will select to (1) View by (2) Tenant Contacts:
2. Add Prospects to Your Call List
Once selected, you will notice the results panel update to your preferred view of information. Next, you will click Select All (#*) and click the + icon to create and add the contacts to your call list.
*The number in the parenthesis indicates how many results you have that meet your filters. The max number of results is 500.
3. Access the Call List Widget from the Utility Bar
Select Lists in the lower left corner of your screen to open the call list widget.
As soon as you click on your list, you will be brought to your newly created call list for the day. At this point you will find multiple options such as Archive List, Add Action Plan, New Task, or Remove from List. These actions can be mass applied as soon as you check the boxes next to the contacts, or applied individually.
When you're ready to begin calling, you will need to mark off the top checkbox to select all contacts press the play button you will then be taken to the contact page of the first individual on your list. By clicking Next you will move down your call list one by one.
Don't forget that once you're on the contact page, you will be able to make any necessary updates to the contacts' details (phone, email, etc.), and log your call and set your follow-up task from the Activity panel.
4. Access Your Call Lists from the Lists Object
Another way that you can access existing call lists is from the Lists object/tab. You will be brought directly to a List View that looks similar to other objects. You may want to view your call lists in this format if you need to view call list details (e.g. created date, number of contacts in a list, created by, etc.).
5. Add to Existing Call Lists or Create One from the Contacts and Companies Object
* With the Summer 2019 product release, you can now add to existing lists or create a new call list from the Properties and Spaces/Units objects.
If you have already created a list from GEOsearch or want to create a new call list, you may want to consider going to the Contacts or Companies objects to build your call list. In a previous section we discussed list views and how to slice and dice the information. Once you have done the same with your Contacts or Companies list view, you can select all contacts select the dropdown arrow select Add To List.
