Using Chatter can help the stream of conversations on all your important deals, collaborate across departments or offices, and provide an avenue to give shoutouts to your colleagues.
In this article, you will learn how to add a Chatter feed directly to your Deal Pipeline.
1. Enable Chatter Globally
Go to Setup > in the Quick Find Search Bar type "Global Actions" > select Publisher Layouts > select Edit next to Global Layout
In the top panel select Mobile & Lightning Actions > select Post to drag and drop it into the "Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions" section (does not matter where it goes on the list) > then Save.
2. Enable Chatter in Object(s)
Now, go into the Object Manager and select the object you would like to add Chatter to. In this example, we will add it to Deal Pipeline (Buyer Rep):
3. Edit Page
Go into Setup > Edit Page > add the Tabs component above Activity > change the Tabs to Activity and Chatter > drag your existing Activity component into the Activity tab > select into the Chatter tab > drag and drop a new Chatter component into the Chatter tab > lastly Save your changes
