When a property sells or is taken off market, it is important that this change is reflected within Buildout. Buildout will continue syndicating listings that have not been changed from an On Market status, potentially confusing leads and cluttering the listing broker's inbox with notifications related to off market properties.
The status of a listing can be accomplished in just a few steps:
- From within Buildout, search for the listing you wish to update the status for.
- Select Edit on the listing card in question.
- From within the Property Edit Form, select Sale from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Select from the statuses shown. Off Market and Closed will both remove the listing from the plugin found on your website as well as Buildout's syndication partners.
- Click Save
That's it! Buildout will now update your listing and, if applicable, send a response to syndication sites requesting your listing be removed. The response from the syndication site is generally fairly quick, sometimes within the hour.
