If you’re looking to send an email within Buildout, you will need to connect your account with your preferred email provider. Currently, you can integrate with Constant Contact, MailChimp, iContact, and Youman Media. Email providers can be set up for an entire company or for an individual agent.
Connecting an email provider for an individual
If you’re a broker and want to send out an email directly from Buildout, you can set this up under your Profile Settings. You will need to have the Can Send Emails permission to use this feature.
- Navigate to your Profile Settings using the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner
- From the Profile Settings page, select the Email tab
- Find your email provider, then select Connect Account or you can Sign Up for a new account with any of our integrated email providers
Connecting an email provider for the company
You can only connect the company email provider if you have the Can Manage Company permission. Once configured, you should be able to send out emails using the company email address and access the company contact lists.
- Navigate to the Company Settings using the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner
- Click on the Email tab
- Find your email provider, then select Connect Account or you can Sign Up for a new account with any of our integrated email providers
Email Permissions:
The admin of the company will need to set up the email permissions for each user under the Company Settings. Please review the User and Email Permissions in this article.
Note: MailChimp can be connected through an API Key. This key can be generated inside of your MailChimp account and then connected under the Profile/Email Settings. Please see this article for more information - https://mailchimp.com/help/about-api-keys/.
